Amazon is making a streaming service.
There is another hat in the ring of video game streaming services. According to a report from CNET, Amazon is planning on releasing a cloud-based video game streaming service of their own. This would be another expansion into the gaming industry for the company, as they already own streaming site, Twitch.
With companies like Google having already created a video game streaming service, more companies are beginning to see opportunities in the streaming sphere. Microsoft is currently working on Cloud, a cloud-based streaming service for the Xbox. There are also rumors that Sony wants to break into this business with a streaming service of their own. With all of these new streaming services coming out, consumers must wonder if they will have to pay for multiple services, similar to television and movie streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. Do you think that this service will be successful? Comment your thoughts!
