Apple unveils new iPhone

This morning, Apple unveiled a new iPhone. This product looks promising and it looks like it could be a big step foward for Apple.

If you haven’t heard by now, Apple randomly announced a new iPhone earlier today. The first iPhone release was in 2016. A key feature- it was the outer shell of an old phone but had all the capabilities of a then up-to-date phone. It has consistently held a strong position in Apple’s best-sold models of the iPhone since it’s release. However, 4 years after the original version Apple has decided that it is time for new beginnings. Earlier today, Apple unveiled a new device called the iPhone SE.

No, this is not an April fools joke, this is just bad marketing. The device is a 2020 version of the original device. With a starting price of $399, this device will have all the capabilities of an iPhone 11, but it will come in the shape of an iPhone 8, not 8 plus.

The launch of this phone represents a disaster relief program set forth by the company.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has made its mark on the world economy, Apple has really felt the heat as they rely on foreign-made parts to make their phones. There is no word yet on where Apple is manufacturing these parts. Still, it would not be surprising if they did the manufacturing at home. Although the low price of the phone makes a good point toward foreign production. There is a chance that more parts will be manufactured at home.

As far as the technology inside the phone goes, it is the same interior as the iPhone 11, except you don’t get the fancy overpriced camera. Because it has not launched yet, there is no information on how good the battery life is, or how well the phone performs. Make sure to check back here on April 24th for a more in-depth review of the phone.

For gamers, this is also a good phone. If you get this phone, you will be able to play games faster than if you keep an older model iPhone. So, make sure to keep an eye out for this phone when it goes on sale, and when it releases. There is no rush with this one because apple will not be upgrading it anytime soon if you compare this model with the previous version.

Personally, I am excited to see this phone. It looks like Apple is really giving costumers a good deal here. The way they are releasing this phone is smart. The status of this phone will be lower than the iPhone 11, but for people who care more about the technology than the look, this is a fantastic deal.

Here are the full specs of the phone.

  • 4.7-inch display
  • A13 Bionic chip
  • iPhone 8 design
  • Touch ID
  • Single-lens rear camera
  • 3GB RAM
  • Red, white and black colors
