Crysis Remastered- What To Expect.
The Crysis Remastered Edition came out today. Crysis is undoubtedly one of the most loved shooters to date. Before we experience the Crysis Remastered Edition, let’s take a look at what to expect from this Remaster.
Improved Textures and Graphics
A Remaster always enhances the textures and graphics of the game. But for the Crysis Remastered Edition, we will see enhanced textures and new features like Ray tracing and support for up to 8k resolution. Of course, the first game being dated released in 2007, it was still one of the most impressive looking games.
With the release of Crysis Remastered, we can’t help but think how much it can improve, especially with the newer technology and graphics.
Gameplay and Story
Keep in mind, this is a remaster of the game and not a remake. What it means is that the story and the gameplay of Crysis will remain the same. The improvements in a Remaster are things like graphics, visuals, sounds, and controls. The same should be the case for Crysis Remastered Edition. You will still get to use the nano suit and pull out some great stealth and action sequences. This is precisely what fans loved about the first game.
Can You Run Crysis Remastered Edition?
Crysis has always been one of the most hardware demanding games of its times. Even Crysis 3, which was known to be one of the best of the series, had a hard time running the game at a smooth frame rate. Unfortunately, the same would be the case with the remaster if you plan to run the game at its full potential.
However, if you want to enjoy playing the game again for nostalgia, the good news is that players won’t exactly need a beast of a PC to run it. A minimum of an RX 470 must run the game at an acceptable frame rate on 1080p. Luckily, these come standard with most up-to-date operating systems.
