Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix – Mario Kart in Disguise?
Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is the newest content licensing deal from Nickelodeon, in an attempt to engage their audience more. However, the game draws extreme similarities to Mario Kart.
Nickelodeon, a network that has been losing revenue for the past few years, is at it again, this time with the release of a video game that draws extreme similarities to Mario Kart. I am talking, of course, about Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2.
The game is a racer with the same basic concepts as Mario Kart, but instead of copyrighted-Nintendo characters, it is Nickelodeon characters instead. Spongebob, Patrick, the rugrats, among many others, are featured in the second edition of this game.
Contrary to Nintendo games, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 will be available across platforms. Players will be able to access the game from a Playstation 4, Xbox One, and, surprisingly, Nintendo Switch.
The game features over 30 different racers from the Nickelodeon Universe and 28 tracks to race on. Additionally, players can customize their cars and race against friends.
Gamemill studios created the game, and according to a Google survey, 98% of users liked the game. Overall, this game lacks originality, but it gives an old experience a makeover and gives players from other consoles a chance to experience what Mario Kart would play like on a Playstation or Xbox.
